Is it Spring yet? What is it that makes waiting so difficult? Many of us have a low tolerance for boredom. I’ve never heard a waiting room described as interesting. Other times it is frustration with circumstances. Adversity is tolerated and endured never enjoyed. Tough times can also lead to feelings of helplessness. We’d like to get past the waiting but We’d like to get past the waiting but we don't know what can be done.Thankfully, there are those times when waiting is hard due to anticipation of something wonderful. Is it Christmas yet?
During the month of Febuary, the children of DBC will participate in collecting change to fight childhood hunger!! Everyone is welcome to help the children in this effort! All filled bowls are due back on Feb. 20th at the children's ministry night! Children's ministry night will be from 6:00-8:30 for all potty trained 4 year olds-5th grade.
I was recently blessed with the chance to go to the beach with my family. It was the first beach trip I’ve ever taken with my dad. Within the three days we were there, we spent time walking, playing games, riding rides, splashing in the ocean and eating yummy foods! Our beach trip resembled the beach trips of so many others, I’m sure. But within the few days we were there, God taught me so many things. It seemed that His reminders were everywhere I turned.
